Chocolate Peppermint Brownies (DF, GF, VE option)

Our third holiday recipe from Allergies and Me is here just in time for Christmas!


We've teamed up with Lori Preshing, from Allergies and Me, to create holiday recipes to help make the holidays a little bit easier for those with food intolerances.


Wet Ingredients:


1/2 cup Peppermint and Cacao Hippie Mylk (holiday flavour)

1 tsp vanilla

12 drops peppermint stevia

3 tbsp coconut oil

4 eggs (or 4 chia eggs)


Dry Ingredients:


1 can black beans

1/2 cup cocoa powder

3 tbsp coconut oil

1/2 cup almond flour

1/4 cup coconut flour

1 tsp baking powder/soda

1/2 cup Enjoy Life chocolate chips


Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 350F.


2. Mix wet ingredients in a bowl.


3. In a separate bowl mix black beans, cocoa powder, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder/soda.


4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry mixture and mix well until thick.


5. Fold in 1/2 a cup of Enjoy Life chocolate chips.


6. Pour mixture into a greased pan and bake for 30 minutes.


7. Enjoy with a glass of Hippie Mylk!
