Summer is the season of smoothie bowls (let's be real, I eat them year round)! This refreshing recipe will help you to get your greens and cool you down in the hot summer months ahead!
This recipe makes enough for 2 smoothie bowls.
1/2 cup of kale
1/2 cup of baby spinach
1 green apple, cored and chopped
1 cup of chopped cucumber
1 medium stalk of celery
1 cup of mango (frozen or fresh)
1 teaspoons of virgin coconut oil (optional)
4 ice cubes, or as needed
1/2 cup of your favourite granola
1/4 cup of blueberries (frozen or fresh)
1 tbsp of peanut butter (to drizzle), or as needed
Add Original Hippie Mylk, kale, baby spinach, apple, cucumber, celery, mango, virgin coconut oil, and ice. Blend on high until super smooth. You can add more Hippie Mylk, if necessary, to get the mixture to blend.
Pour into a bowl and top with granola, blueberries and a drizzle of peanut butter. Enjoy!
